Debut of "Make Peace or Die" Documentary

Attend the optional debut of the documentary of 1/5's march to Baghdad in

2003 directed by Valerian Bennett.

 

Lucian Read Photography

Attend the photo exhibit of Lucian Read, combat photographer.  His photos

include Marines from 11th MEU, 1/4, 2/1, 3/1, 2/5, and 3/6 as well. His

images capture the inner lives of close-knit fighting groups as no other

contemporary photographer has.

 

Three-Day Conference Packed with Speakers, Authors, Exhibits, Programs,

Beginning at noon on Friday, April 21, 2006 and closing at noon on Sunday,

April 23, 2006 this three-day conference is packed with esprit de corps and

the bonding atmosphere of United States Marine Corps and Navy families.

Authors' Hall

Meet prominent authors during the Friday and Saturday Hors d'oeuvres and

Sunday morning. Bring your books, or buy the books on site, to have each

author personally autograph your copy!

 

Pre-conference Workshops

On Friday afternoon you have the opportunity to attend two pre-conference

workshops to learn more about MarineParents.com, Inc. Meet Tracy Della

24 Breakout Session titles to choose from on Saturday

A full day of breakout sessions on Saturday to educate, support, enlighten,

and entertain. There are four different times for breakout sessions on

Saturday including discussion panels, informational presentations, and

hands-on workshops.

 

Hospitality Room and Networking Opportunities

Meet and network with other family members in the Hospitality Room which

will be open during the entire conference. You'll have opportunities to meet

and network with family members during breakfasts, lunch, Hors d'oeuvres,

and dinners.

 

"Our Heroes" Exhibit

"Our Heroes" Exhibit will be open all three days to share photos of your

Marine, Sailor or recruit. "Our Heroes" exhibit will include a special

section to honor our Fallen Heroes. All photos need to be submitted prior to

the conference start date.

 

Silent Auction

Bid on great items and one-of-a-kind military memorabilia during the Silent

Auction on Friday. Winners to be announced after Friday evening's program.

 

Marine Corps Mall

Opportunities to visit educational exhibits as well as retail exhibits

selling items that support and promote the United States Marine Corps, Navy

and the military lifestyle.
